If you're into 60's culture but don't want to parade around on Halloween night as a dirty hippie, wear the 60's Mod Chick Girl's Costume instead! Mods originated in Britain as a subculture that appreciated what was modern jazz at the time, and the term is short for "modernist". Their clothing was expensive because they were the first generation of young adults that didn't have to help their parents pay for things, giving them an income they could use on themselves.
